FOI, Department of Health

Dear Ms Giorgi,

Thank you for your Freedom of Information request to the Department of Health requesting documents relating to the evaluation of the Rheumatic Fever Strategy (RFS), including the report on the evaluation.

The consultant’s final report on the evaluation was only recently formally accepted by the Department.

The Department is now seeking Ministerial approval for the public release of the Final Report. If approved, the report will be made available on the Department’s website, so it would no longer be necessary for you to go through a formal Freedom of Information request.

Should you wish to withdraw your Freedom of Information request, Departmental staff will notify you directly about the Report’s availability as soon as it is available on the Department’s website.

Please advise by 5:00pm Tuesday 2 May 2017 if you wish to proceed with your Freedom of Information request.
