tiny house initiatives in NSW

Gia made this Government Information (Public Access) request to NSW Land and Housing Corporation

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

The request was refused by NSW Land and Housing Corporation.

Dear NSW Land and Housing Corporation,

I am a volunteer at a non-profit/charity organisation in Sydney South West and recently saw a news program on SBS 3 days ago on portable tiny homes being installed on Victorian Government small plot of lands ( owned by VicRoads) that were currently not in use and were on temporary loan for "Launch Housing" to use to shelter and house homeless people.

I was wondering if NSW has similar initiative? Does the NSW Land and Housing Corporation also have small plot of lands that can be used in similar fashion?
How do you go about finding out which lands are available for this type of use? Many thanks for your time.

Yours faithfully,

Gia
