Dear Department of Education,

I would like to understand the impact of the Government's VET FEE-HELP policy changes made during 2016.

Are you able to release information on student enrolment figures for 2016 year to date? Whether by provider or if this is not possible, simply the total student enrolments under the VET FEE-HELP system for 2016.

Dear Anthony,

 

Thank you for your two requests on 11 October 2016 for the following
information:

 

Request 1:

“I am after data on government VET FEE-HELP payments made to training
providers for the full year 2015 and 2016 year to date.

 

The most recent information I am able to locate if 2015 payments to 15
November 2015. Do you have a completed 2015 VET FEE-HELP statistics
report? And do you have data on the large recipients for 2016 year to
date?”

 

Request 2:

“I would like to understand the impact of the Government's VET FEE-HELP
policy changes made during 2016.

 

Are you able to release information on student enrolment figures for 2016
year to date? Whether by provider or if this is not possible, simply the
total student enrolments under the VET FEE-HELP system for 2016.”
