Dear Department of Health,

I would like to request an electronic copy of the 2014-15 Aged Care Service List - Australia - as at 30 June 2015, complete with the column of information containing the "2014-15 Australian Government Funding" of each listed service in the spreadsheet.

We note that funding figures were included and published in previous years Service lists, but omitted from the "2014-15 Aged Care Service List": http://bit.ly/dss-ageing

Current and previous years Service lists are (currently) published on this web page on the Department's website:
https://www.dss.gov.au/ageing-and-aged-c...

(Although the Service lists are currently published on the Department of Social Services website, we understand that due to the recent Machinery of Government changes, the Ageing and Aged Care functions and activities of the portfolio transferred to the Department of Health as of 30 September 2015.)

Could you please provide the material in electronic format in Microsoft Excel as is currently the case.

I look forward to your response.

Many thanks,
Lynda Saltarelli.

FOI, Department of Health

Dear Ms Saltarelli

I refer to your request of 30 January 2016 to the Department of Health
(‘Department’) seeking access under the Freedom of Information Act 1982
(FOI Act) to:

“the 2014-15 Aged Care Service List – Australia – as at 30 June 2015,
complete with the column of information containing the “2014-15 Australian
Government Funding” of each listed service in the spreadsheet.”

The Aged Care Service List contains information on aged care services
subsidised by the Australian Government under the Aged Care Act 1997. It
also includes services funded under the National Aboriginal and Torres
Strait Islander Flexible Aged Care Programme. As Australian Government
funding data is finalised several months after the end of the financial
year, the Aged Care Service List is published in two stages to ensure the
public have timely access to aged care service information. The first and
second versions of the Aged Care Service List, as at 30 June 2015, were
published on 22 September 2015 and 10 February 2016, respectively. The
Aged Care Service List is available on the Department of Social Service
website with funding information for each service located in the column
titled "2014-15 Australian Government Funding". A copy of the link is at:
[1]https://www.dss.gov.au/sites/default/fil....
Further details are available on the [2]DSS website.

As the information you have requested is publically available, the
Department will consider your FOI request to be withdrawn unless you
inform us otherwise by 5 pm Monday 22 February 2016.

Regards
