Dear Ms Folly,

There is no need to make a request for this information through Freedom Of Information (FOI), as it is publically available information in the Department of Human Services (DHS) 2014-15 Annual Report.

In summary, as at 30 June 2015 there were 5,511 pharmacies approved to supply PBS medicines, an increase of 54 pharmacies from 30 June 2014. A full copy of the Annual report can be downloaded from the DHS website at https://www.humanservices.gov.au/corpora... (see table 35 of that report).

I trust this information is of assistance.
