Any manuals or notices made available to Centrelink staff on how to respond to client threats of self-harm
Dear Department of Human Services,
I hereby request, under the Freedom of Information Act 1982, the following information:
1) Any manuals made available to Centrelink staff in the 18 months prior to 31 December, 2016 detailing how staff should respond to threats of self-harm by clients; and
2) Any notices sent to, or made available to Centrelink staff in the 18 months prior to 31 December, 2016 detailing how staff should respond to threats of self-harm by clients;
This request is not seeking personal data of individual Centrelink clients. It is a request solely for procedural/training manuals/notices sent to staff on how to respond to threats of self-harm by clients.
I also make the application that all costs for the processing of this request be waived on the grounds that the release of this information is in the public interest.
