Freedom of Information (FOI reference 136267)

 

I refer to your request for documents under the Freedom of Information Act
1982 (the FOI Act), received by the department on 18 June 2025, in which
you sought access to:

 

I am seeking the average time to process manual proof of age applications,
from first contact of applicant (or representative) to card issue, between
2020 and 2025, by financial year.

 

Application fee

 

Section 17(2A) of the FOI Act requires that an application fee of $32.70
accompanies a request for access to documents. The application fee may be
waived in circumstances of hardship. If you wish to seek waiver of the
fee, you will need to provide evidence of hardship, such as a current
healthcare or pension card.

 

The fee can be paid by credit/debit card, cheque or money order. If you
wish to pay by credit/debit card, please submit a new request via the FOI
portal to the Department of Justice and Community Safety at

pay the application fee for FOI request 136267.

 

Please note your request will not be considered valid and will therefore
not be processed until payment or application for waiver is received and
approved.
