Dear Department of Infrastructure and Regional Development,

Can you please provide documents in relation to the building our future tv campaign? I'm interested in the documents detailing who requested the campaign, who approved it, and how much it costs.

Please consider this as an informal request for information. If it can't be considered that way, please treat it as a formal FOI request.

Yours faithfully,

Dear Mr Fairless

I refer to your email and Freedom of Information (FOI) application received by the Department of Infrastructure and Regional Development (the Department) on 1 March 2016, through the right to know website.

Your request sought access to documents relating to the 'building our future TV campaign', specifically "who requested the campaign, who approved it, and how much it costs".

I have been advised by relevant areas within the Department that this information was discussed at a recent Senate Estimate's hearing and is a matter of public record. You can access the Hansard transcripts of this discussion at the following link: http://www.aph.gov.au/Parliamentary_Busi....

I trust this information will be of assistance to you and satisfy your request.

Grateful if you could formally withdraw your request via return email.

Please do not hesitate to contact the FOI team if you would like to discuss this matter further.

Kind regards
FOI Team
