Felix Sanders

Dear Reserve Bank of Australia,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Reserve Bank of Australia's handling of my FOI request 'Communication between Glenn Stevens and Terry McRann'.

Your email of 20 March does not contain any of the information required under section 26 of the FOI act.

I ask that the 'decision' be reviewed. I also ask that the requirements of the FOI act be adhered to during the review process.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.righttoknow.org.au/request/c...

Yours faithfully,

Felix Sanders

FOI, Reserve Bank of Australia

Dear Mr Sanders,

I refer to your request for internal review (under the Freedom of
Information Act 1982) of Anthony Dickman's decision in relation to your
recent request seeking 'copies of any documents showing the existence of
meetings, emails or telephone calls between the Governor of the RBA, Glenn
Stevens, and Terry McRann (sic) between 1 January and 3 March 2015'.

I was appointed by the Governor to undertake the review.

Accordingly, I have examined the actions of the Bank's FOI section and
decision maker and also conducted my own enquiries in relation to whether
any documents relevant to your request exist.  I have made a fresh
decision (as required by the Act).

My decision is that there are no documents in existence relevant to your
request.

If you remain dissatisfied, you have further rights to review of my
decision, as detailed here
[1]http://www.oaic.gov.au/freedom-of-inform... .

Yours sincerely,

Malcolm Edey | Assistant Governor (Financial System)
