• state that the request is an application for the purposes of the FOI Act
• provide enough information about the documents so that we can identify them
• provide an address for reply.

Currently, your request does not meet the requirements of a valid request under the FOI Act. This is because the request is a request for information and not documents.

The department is not responsible for the day-to-day administration, management and operation of state schools. Noting the details in your correspondence and the information you are seeking to access, it appears you may have intended to direct your email to the Queensland Department of Education, which is responsible for the administration of Queensland state schools including Southport Special School.
