details of an information security breach committed by Services Australia legal subcontractors in 2025
Dear Services Australia,
G’day.
I am interested in obtaining details of an information security breach committed by Services Australia legal subcontractors and revealed within the scope of processing MR20/00324 and MR20/00340 within OIAC, and 2025/0298 within ART (agency references LEX 57073 and LEX 58510).
For example: internal communications, investigative and executive reports, and referrals to other agencies such as state police cyber security branches or the AFP.
There is a significant public interest in demonstrating that the use of external legal contractors disproportionately increases information security risks due to the complexity of the systems involved, the informational nature of those systems, and the lack of technical understanding within the legal profession—while allegedly providing the benefit of legal framework protection, yet resulting in a factual waste of financial resources for the personal benefit of subcontractors.
All of this appears to be conducted as a form of legal resistance to a proposed simple pathway of in-person auditing of privacy compliance and records, while continuously focusing on non-existent risks presented only within the delusional imagination of certain Commonwealth associates.
It is called corruption in some cultures, but appears to be normalised within Commonwealth systems.
Kind regards,
A
