Dear Department of Veterans' Affairs,

The information I am seeking is in relation to the after-hours counselling service for the financial years 2017/18 and 2018/19, namely:

: Calls received.

: Average Call abandonment rate, in percentage terms, and

: Average call wait time (seconds).

I ask the above be supplied within 30 days as this data will be the subject of discussion at the Secretary’s Round Table scheduled for 9 August 2019.

You are correct as there are two requests for the same information so I now wish to withdraw one. I apologise for this as when I made the first request it took a while to appear on Right To Know thus the reason for lodging the same request a second time.

Thanks for this information received yesterday. Good to see a massive reduction in the time to answer calls and the average call abandonment rate although we would all like to see it further reduced.
