FOI Request: Access to Data Sharing Agreements and Related Documents
Dear Australian Taxation Office,
I, Trent Morrison-Francis, am requesting access to documents under the Freedom of Information Act 1982. Specifically, I am seeking:
All active Memorandum of Understanding, Heads of Agreement, Data Sharing Agreements, and Service Contracts that result in the sharing of veteran data, even if de-identified. I am looking for similar documents for programs and agreements that ceased within the last 10 years or are still active.
I prefer to receive these documents electronically via the Right to Know system by responding to the email through which this request has been sent.
Thank you for your attention to this request. I look forward to your prompt response.
Sincerely,
Trent Morrison-Francis
Dear FOI,
Thanks for your email.
Would a varied scope of only asking for the documents between you and the following departments assist.
Department of Veteran Affairs
Commonwealth Supperannuation (and the military relates schemes only)
Services Australia (Centrelink, Child Support and Medicare)
Please also note any scheme to report end of taxation year records to you such as PAYG or Medicare levy exemption notifications are excluded as this is normal practice for a business to provide you. This however does not exclude any data shares with you from CSC in relation to the Douglas matter.
This might provide further history on this request as it is our goal to find out how many other programs the government has to share our data and medical history’s https://www.dva.gov.au/news/latest-stori...
Yours sincerely,
Trent Morrison-Francis
Dear FOI,
Am I now right to have the view that this is now a deemed refusal?
Yours sincerely,
Trent Morrison-Francis

I'm sorry for the delay in displaying the OAIC response here, this was held back by the RTK system. It didn't match the response to this request and I think that's because the response is from the OAIC and not from the original authority. (Right to Know admin)
