I am researching the passing of 2 Vietnam Veterans and need/wish to confirm cause of death, can you help ?

Rodger James made this Freedom of Information request to Department of Veterans' Affairs

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

The request was refused by Department of Veterans' Affairs.

Dear Department of Veterans' Affairs,

I am currently researching the passing of 2 Vietnam Veterans and have discovered that one is recorded as having died of wounds received whilst serving in Vietnam. I disagree as he was still serving in 1992.

The other's cause of death is unknown to me as the hospital (St Vincent's Bris) wont release the reason for his passing.

I will supply all of their particulars ie name, dob, service/regimental numbers etc if and when you decide that you can help me with my request.

If you are unable to assist I will try Birth Deaths and Marriages Qld. Failing that I will try the services of a Private Investigator

Yours faithfully,

Rodger James
