Interim Commissioner to Investigate Veteran Suicides - Details

The request was successful.

Dear Attorney-General's Department,

On 5 February 2020 the Prime Minister Scott Morrison announced he will appoint a permanent independent commissioner to investigate veteran suicide in Australia.

He also said this would be preceded by an appointment of an Interim National Commissioner for Defence and Veteran Suicide Prevention. These positions would sit under the control of the Attorney Generals Department.

The information I am seeking is:

: Evidence of this position, (Interim Commissioner), being advertised in the press, and
: A copy of the full job description for the position of Interim Commissioner.

Yours faithfully,

Alan ASHMORE
