Most recent copy of “G644:2020 Emergency Call Service Protections Requirements”
Dear Australian Communications and Media Authority,
I would like a copy of the most recent version of the document “G644:2020 Emergency Call Service Protections Requirements” created by the Australian Telecommunications Alliance.
If you believe the document is already publicly available please direct me to the location of the document.
To assist the Department in more promptly processing the request, I agree to the exclusion of:
a) duplicates of documents;
b) duplicate email chains;
c) draft versions of a document where a later version exists;
d) publicly available documents;
e) personal information (including names and contact details) of APS staff and members of the public;
f) direct, non-public contact information of third party organisations (such as carriers, emergency services organisations, or the Emergency Call Person).
I also agree to:
g) administrative release of the requested information if this would assist the Department in processing the request;
My request has been made to both ACMA and the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Communications. Please do not transfer this request between these agencies.
I anticipate that, given the time of year, you may need more time to process my request. If you require it, I am happy to consent to a 30 day extension of the processing time.
Yours faithfully,
Ben Fairless
PS: While I am an employee of OpenAustralia Foundation (the charity that operates "Right to Know") I am making this request in a personal capacity and not on behalf of the Foundation.

Hello Anna,
Thanks for your reply. I’m not sure if this is an oversight in your letter but I did proactively agree to a number of redactions to the document - hopefully to deal with the biggest objections I could thing of. Feel free to let me know after you’ve consulted if there’s a way for me to refrain my request.
Kindly,
Ben Fairless
