Dear Lucy Bastick,

Until now, I have not received an official response to my enquiry, nor a request for payment or invoice requesting the payment of a fee.

Can you please raise an invoice to be paid via https://www.stonnington.vic.gov.au/Live/...

Yours sincerely,

Ben Hill

Lucy Bastick, Stonnington City Council

Good morning Ben

I've checked and FOI isn't one of the selected transactions that can be performed online.

If you could please pay via credit card over the phone that'd be appreciated.

Kind regards
Lucy

Good afternoon Mr Hill

I've been liaising with the transport and parking team about your request.

The documents do not exist in a discrete form and need to be generated. Each month takes a total of 10 minutes, taking the total up to 4 hours to produce the data sought. Would you consider restricting the date range?

The Parkng Services Coordinator has also flagged that the 'officer number' and 'infringement number' fields are sensitive fields. Would you consider excluding these fields from the scope of your request?

Thanks in advance

Lucy

Dear Lucy,

Date Range - Please provide as requested. Given we live in a big data digital age, it sounds like there is an opportunity for Stonnington Council to improve their data analytics and extraction.

Request for exclusions - Please refer to FOI-17-031:0001 where all data fields were provided. Please note that sensitivity has been considered prior to making this request.

Yours sincerely,

Ben Hill

Lucy Bastick, Stonnington City Council

Good morning Ben

Thanks for your email.

We are yet to receive your application fee.

We may also levy charges to produce the document under section 19 of the FOI Act pursuant to section 22(1)(d) of the FOI Act.

Are you seeking to proceed?

Kind regards
Lucy

Hi Lucy,

As to ensure the application fee is not wasted, can you please provide the reasonable costs that your are proposing may be charged per Section 22(1)(d)?

Yours sincerely,

Ben Hill

Lucy Bastick, Stonnington City Council

Good morning Ben

The cost to produce the document is $88.84.

It will take four hours to generate and I've applied the same rate as if we were searching for documents that already exist.

If you could like to reduce the scope of your request (and therefore the cost), you're welcome to suggest ways to do this.

Kind regards
Lucy

Dear Lucy Bastick,

Thank you. However, please note that the requested format was flat file CSV. It has been provided to me in PDF. This may be an oversight, else I interpret this to be a tactic to mitigate reasonable electronic analysis. In addition, the date fields in the provided PDF do not appear correctly.

Please review the original request and ensure that it is performed in full.
