Casey Briggs made this Freedom of Information request to Australian Broadcasting Corporation

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

The request was partially successful.

Dear Australian Broadcasting Corporation,

I request, under the Freedom of Information Act, a copy of all
documents that contain a reference to "Taylor Swift" or "Shake It Off" that was produced in January 2015 by staff of triple j.

In particular, I request all correspondence and documents relating to the decision to disqualify the Taylor Swift song 'Shake It Off' from the 2014 triple j Hottest 100.

This request includes, but is not limited to, emails and policy
statements.

Yours faithfully,
Casey Briggs

Read www.triplejfeed.com to see why Taylor Swift was disqualified.... it is not to do with Taylor Swift per say but how the voters did not vote fairly, and rigged the voting.

Dear Judith Maude,

FOI REQUEST - REFERENCE NUMBER 2015-004

I am writing to clarify the scope of my FOI request, referenced above.

To simplify the request I will narrow the scope to the following:

I request all correspondence and documents relating to the decision (including the reasoning behind the decision) to disqualify the Taylor Swift song 'Shake It Off' from the 2014 triple j Hottest 100.

I will also narrow the time period of the request to the period from 10 to 30 January 2015 to simplify the request.

Yours sincerely,

Casey Briggs

In your response you refer me to a similar request (reference number 2015-003). The copy of this available on the FOI Disclosure Log includes:

"Access is granted to 55 documents (being documents numbered 4, 8-10, 12, 19, 28, 31-4, 37-9, 43-4, 47, 51, 59, 62-3, 65-9, 76, 79-81, 83, 93, 111, 113, 119, 123, 134, 136, 145, 148, 151, 161, 164, 171, 184, 187-8, 191, 202, 211-16).

...

Copies of the documents to which access is granted are attached."

However there is no attachment including these documents anywhere in the document.

Are you able to provide this to me?

Yours sincerely,
