Dear Administrative Appeals Tribunal,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Administrative Appeals Tribunal's handling of my FOI request 'transcript of hearings from matter Naeema Kazi -v- Comcare'.

The officer making the decision refused access based on section 46 and others of the FOI Act stating that the document is exempt from the FOI Act
not providing information solely because you believe you do not have to is poor reasoning
and I fail to see how providing me with this information would be contrary to an order or direction given, further I was told that some one or organisation had already successfully obtained the information I am seeking I get an impression that I am not being provided with the information purely because of the eventual method I have chosen to obtain the requested information with some kind of arrogant bias against me
I am also of the opinion that at the time of these hearings a member or members of the public had attended this hearing though it may have been a law student,
I would like to state that addresses or personal information on parties or witnesses is not required in the scope of my request and in the very least I should be permitted to view the information I had requested and would seek explanations why it is necessary to deny me the information and as it would appear not deny access to others.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.righttoknow.org.au/request/t...

Yours faithfully,

Paul Miller
