Freedom of Information, Australian National University

Dear Indiana,

As the initial processing period has now expired, your request has entered a deemed decision state.

We have the documentation and are happy to provide this to you, but wanted to obtain your consent to release it to you administratively under the privacy act rather than the FOI Act seeing it is now a deemed decision.

What this means is that you will receive all the same documentation you otherwise would have under FOI, but you won't receive a formal decision letter from the FOI decision maker and you won't receive a schedule of documents (basically giving you a high level overview of the documents (date created, # of pages, title of document, decision on access, any exemptions applied).

If you could let us know how you wish to proceed we will finalise it as a priority.

Thanks,

ANU FOI Team

Dear FOI Team,

I’m happy to agree to an administrative release for this request.

Yours sincerely,

Indiana Clibborn

Thank you for the documentation supplied.

The University Council minutes for the 28th March 2025 meeting aren't included, was this intentional?

Yours sincerely,
Indiana Clibborn

Freedom of Information, Australian National University

Good morning Indiana,
We have not received the minutes for the March Council meeting, however,
it should be noted that these minutes will be released publicly at the
following link in the coming days:
[1]https://www.anu.edu.au/about/governance/...
How this release process works is the minutes of meeting 1 are approved at
meeting 2 by the Council and then they can be released publicly following
that meeting, and so on and so forth, so the minutes for the meeting that
occurred on 30 May will be made public following the August meeting.
If you would like we can send you an email once we are advised that those
minutes have gone live on the above website.
Kind regards,
ANU FOI Team
