I refer to your email dated 21 December 2017, requesting access under the
Freedom Information Act 1982 (the FOI Act) to:
“… the Minister of Communications' diary for the period 11 September to 1
October 2017, in a 'weekly agenda' format..”
The documents you have requested are more likely to be held by the
Minister and therefore in accordance with section 16(1) of the FOI Act, we
have transferred your request (in full) to the Minister. The Minister
accepted the full transfer of your request on 2 January 2018.

We are in receipt of your FOI request received by our Department on 21
December 2017 and transferred to us under s.16 of the FOI Act on 2 January
2018. I am advised that a decision on your request is currently due by 20
January 2018.
I request your agreement under s.15AA of the FOI Act to an extension of
time to Friday 2 February 2018. I anticipate that this two week extension
will enable sufficient time for your request to be processed and a
decision sent to you.
