Ayers Rock Resort acquisition - Board papers, approvals, due diligence and valuations (2009–2012) – final versions

Currently waiting for a response from Indigenous Land and Sea Corporation, they should respond promptly and normally no later than (details).

Dear Indigenous Land and Sea Corporation,

This is an application under the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (Cth).

I seek access to final versions of records about the ILSC decision to acquire Ayers Rock Resort (also referred to as Yulara or Uluru‑Kata Tjuta resort):

Board papers, minutes and approvals that considered or decided the purchase (1 Jan 2009 - 30 Jun 2012).

Final legal, financial and operational due diligence reports, valuations, risk assessments and investment memoranda, and any record of ministerial consultation or direction relied on.

Any final post‑acquisition review and the ILSC response.

Scope limits: Exclude duplicates, drafts, working notes, media clippings and email chains unless they attach a final record. Where a document contains exempt matter, please provide an edited copy under s 22. Exclude documents already published on the ILSC FOI disclosure log.

Searches: Likely holders include the Board Secretariat, Group CEO, CFO, General Counsel and the Voyages CEO. Likely systems include the board‑pack portal and the ILSC EDRMS (e.g. TRIM/Content Manager).

Form of access: Searchable PDF by email.
Charges: Please waive or reduce any charge under s 29(5) due to strong public interest in oversight of public expenditure (s 11B(3)).
If scope is too broad, please start s 24AB consultation and I will refine.
