FOI Delegations - 2016
Dear IP Australia,
Can I please have a copy of the current FOI Delegations, and any related directions issued in respect of FOI.
I believe this information could be considered "operational information" so I therefore request release under the IPS, or under Administrative Access.
Yours faithfully,
Ben Fairless

Dear Mr Fairless,
I refer to your email below requesting documents under the Freedom of
Information Act 1982 (the FOI Act) on 2 November 2016.
IP Australia has interpreted your FOI request for ‘the current FOI
Delegations, and any related directions issued in respect of FOI’ as a
request for a copy of IP Australia’s current Instrument of Authorisation
made under section 23 of the FOI Act.
IP Australia is releasing the requested documents to you administratively,
outside the operation of the FOI Act. Please find attached a copy of IP
Australia’s current FOI Instrument of Authorisation. IP Australia has not
issued any directions in respect of FOI.
As you are now in receipt of the requested document, we would be grateful
if you would advise in writing whether you will withdraw your FOI request
of 2 November 2016.
Kind regards
Office of Legal Counsel
IP Australia
