Dear Mr Newton,

 

I refer to your Freedom of Information request for:

 

‘an extract from George Brandis' appointment diary showing his meetings
and engagements between 9:30pm and 10:30pm on the night of Monday 20th
February 2017.

If any appointments begin before the requested time window  or end after
the requested time window, and overlap the requested time window, please
also include those’.

 

I am writing to tell you that I have transferred your request, in full, to
the Attorney-General’s Office under s16(1) of the FOI Act. I am able to
transfer a request if the subject matter is more closely related to the
functions of another agency.

 

We received your request on 20 February 2017, and the 30 day statutory
timeframe for processing your request commenced on the day after that
date. The Attorney-General’s Office will treat your request as though they
received it the same day that we did.

On Feb 28 2017, you referred an FOI request from me to the Attorney-General's Office.
