Receipts, Diverted Profits Tax
Dear Australian Taxation Office,
May I please submit the following freedom of information request? It consists of 3 parts.
1.
How much tax revenue was collected in the tax year 2017-18 by the Deferred Profits Tax which was introduced in the Diverted Profits Tax Act 2017?
2.
Also, if the information is available, how much has been collected to date (if it is different)?
3.
In what category are these tax receipts classified when they are transmitted to the Australian Bureau of Statistics for recording? Do they, for example, constitute "Taxes on Financial and Capital Transactions (Commonwealth Government)"?
