Selection of Age Assurance Stakeholder Advisory Board

eSafety Commissioner did not have the information requested.

Dear eSafety Commissioner (and eSafety FOI officer),

I wish to make a request under the Freedom of Information Act 1982 for documents relating to the selection of members for the Age Assurance Stakeholder Advisory Board, chaired by Professor Jon Rouse APM.

This request covers documents dated between 1 May 2025 and 24 July 2025, inclusive.

You may redact the names and identifying details of staff of eSafety other than the eSafety Commissioner.

You may redact the names and identifying details of public servants outside of eSafety so long as their department/agency and role are otherwise clear.

You may redact the contact details and personal addresses of other third parties so long as they are still identified by name and (where applicable) organisation/business.

I otherwise do not consent to other redactions, although feel free to ask if you think it's something I genuinely won't be interested in or which would significantly reduce the work involved in fulfilling the request.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Yours faithfully,

Greg Tannahill

Dear eSafety Commissioner,

Could you please acknowledge your receipt of my FOI requested dated 25 July 2025, relating to the Age Assurance Stakeholder selection process, sent by email to this address?

Yours faithfully,

Greg Tannahill

FOI, eSafety Commissioner

Dear eSafety,

Thank you for your response. I appear to have conflated eSafety's recent call for consultation participants with the Age Assurance Stakeholder Advisory Group. I will follow up with an FOI to the Department regarding the Stakeholder Advisory Group, and follow up with your office with an FOI regarding the consultation engaged in by eSafety.

You may consider this FOI matter closed, and you may expect a new FOI directed to the consultation shortly.

With thanks,

Greg Tannahill
