Under the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (Cth) I request access to the following documents:
- The Microsoft Teams message or messages referred to by Professor Brown in The Australian article published on 24 October 2025, where she made reference to an “in-house joke” posted on a Teams channel or chat.
- Any associated Teams messages, replies, or comments in the same conversation or chat thread.
- Any correspondence or communications that discuss or refer to that same Teams message or conversation.

On 24 October 2025, the Australian National University (the University)
received your request for access to documents under the Freedom of
Information Act 1982 (the FOI Act).
The University has taken your request to be as follows:

Processing Timeframe
The statutory time frame for processing your request is 30 calendar days
from day after the date your request was received by the University. You
should therefore expect a decision from us by 23 November 2025.

writing if this happens.
